Living through a mental health crisis can be terrifying.
We can support folks ages 16-30 who are experiencing mental illness and their families.
We can provide the educational and psychosocial resources and supports that have helped folks ages 16-30 recover from mental illness.
We can identify the resources that you need to pass through the storm toward reaching recovery and wellness.
We recover in community. At Nothing Matters But the Children our vision is to create a network of care where folks ages 16-30 experiencing mental illness and their families can connect without stigma to access resources that reduce stigma, increase help-seeking, and that support recovery and wellness.
We live our passion. At Nothing Matters But the Children our mission is to provide educational and psychosocial resources that reduce stigma, increase help-seeking, and support recovery and wellness in folks ages 16-30 who are experiencing mental illness.
We value every human’s right to self-expression and agency and celebrate diversity and inclusivity in our relationships, families, and communities.
Nothing Matters But the Children, Inc. was founded in 2015 by a Licensed Educational Psychologist and family member who saw a need for more supportive mental health resources for families.
Our team is made up of licensed professionals and individuals with expert knowledge and lived experience who are passionate about supporting mental health recovery and wellness.
We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide educational and psychosocial resources that reduce stigma, increase help-seeking, and that support mental health recovery and wellness.
We need to connect and play. Do you like to color, paint, draw, or do arts and crafts? Join us for an hour of messy, unstructured fun. An hour to express your creativity in community. We may have been isolated for so long that the lack of connection feels normal. It’s not...people need people...with all our imperfections...however we show up.
Our art sessions are free, virtual, monthly meet-ups led by a peer artist.
